This American2 gastro bench combines special comfort with stylish design. An ergonomically shaped foam interior is concealed beneath the faux leather cover. So, lean back relaxed and enjoy a tasteful meal on a hugging and soft padding. The soft padding, the wide seat surface, and the appropriate seat height ensure a comfortable seating experience. What is faux leather?

Faux leather is a versatile material that is very popular in craftsmanship. It has a surface that feels and looks like real leather, but is produced without animal skins. Faux leather is made from textile fabrics and coated with PVC, polyurethane, or polyester. This mimics the characteristic grain structure of leather. Nowadays, it is scarcely distinguishable from real leather due to the high quality of faux leather.

Genuine leather is very labor-intensive and expensive to produce, and due to the natural characteristics of animal hides, there is often significant waste. Faux leather, on the other hand, can be produced very efficiently. Furthermore, faux leather is very durable, resistant, and weather-resistant against sun and water. It is especially suitable for commercial environments (gastronomy, medical facilities, etc.), where seating furniture tends to become dirty quickly and needs to be cleaned and disinfected frequently.
