AURORA Bioethanol Fireplace – The Dancing Light: Polar Lights Encased in Concrete

The AURORA Bioethanol Fireplace translates the flowing dynamism of the polar lights into a sculptural form. Its organically curved silhouette and elegant concrete appearance create a symbol for flowing warmth and atmospheric depth, seamlessly integrating into modern living spaces, design hotel lobbies, and private retreats. Here, fire is not just experienced but celebrated as a flowing play of light and shadow.

The Language of Flame: Bioethanol as a Pure, Choreographed Element

At the center of the AURORA unfolds a nearly meditative flame. Powered by bioethanol, it burns cleanly, quietly, and smoke-free – a pure, almost ethereal element that requires no elaborate ventilation or installation. This fire offers more than just warmth; it features a continuously changing choreography of light and movement, transforming the space into a vibrant installation and gently, but steadily, drawing attention.

Form Follows Movement: A Statement for Sensual Reduction

Made from resilient GFRC, the AURORA carries its robustness with ease. The material guarantees all-year weather resistance and stability, while the curved, flowing shape consistently evokes movement. This tension between durable mass and dynamic appearance makes it a versatile design element that enriches both purist and organic interior styles.

Material Information:

GFRC (Glass Fiber Reinforced Concrete) is a durable and resilient material frequently used for fireplaces and concrete furniture by Elementi.

• Quality tests: To ensure the reliability of fiber-reinforced concrete products (GFRC) under demanding conditions, we subjected them to strict weathering tests (-25 °C to 200 °C), long-term heat resistance (8 days, 8 hours of burning daily), and 25 frost-thaw cycles. These tests confirmed the exceptional durability and stability of GFRC under extreme climatic conditions.
