Allow us to introduce you!
Celebrate and settle comfortably into our „Luciana“:
Inherently festive, refined, and elegant are these chairs with Sprossenlehne from the Chiavari series. When the fundamental setting is already festive, you can confidently focus on the small details of the celebration motif without much effort or expense, which are meant to make the occasion unforgettable. The aesthetic appearance and the stability of the Chiavari concept made it so popular that the chair even furnished the dining halls of Queen Victoria's palace, entered the Vatican as a gift to Pope Leo XIII in 1892, appeared at the wedding celebration of John and Jackie Kennedy in 1953, and in 2009 even adorned the State Dining Room of the White House. This fine seating furniture rightly deserves the top spot at weddings and other festive gatherings.

What characterizes the Chiavari chair?
The chair, also known as Chiavarina or Tiffany, was designed by the Italian master carpenter Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi at the beginning of the 19th century, who made the construction of the traditional spoked chair especially stable and robust through his self-developed slot system significantly enhanced. With the Chiavari construction, the natural wood chair gained an almost unmatched elasticity, lightness, and resistance. Additionally, the simpler decoration and structure of the chair imparted a notable beauty and elegance, which is why it remains the preferred chair for ceremonial occasions today.
All these characteristics are offered by our Luciana in the cost-effective plastic version.
