The Palawan is the follow-up production of the designer chair Atra, which already took its place in the Furniture Design Museum in Stockholm and won several awards. This design wants to convey the importance of higher values to the world through material and form. It has clearly succeeded in doing so. The Atra chair, designed by Kunter Şekercioğlu, has won the German Design Award Gold 2021 in the category "Excellent Product Design - Gardening and Outdoor Living" with the title "Democratic Design", the iF Design Award 2020 in the category "Creative Design", the Plus X 2020 Design Award and the Design Türkiye Award for "Superior Design".

What is special about our Palawan chairs?

The Palawan designer plastic chair has won several awards for its environmental friendliness, sustainability, long life, elegance and ergonomics. This is a real designer product at a super low price!

The chair is constructed in two parts with an exchangeable seat shell. This means that the entire chair does not have to be replaced if the more heavily used and somewhat softer seat shell wears out after many years. This ensures sustainability and renewability.

The seat shell with perforated back and side rests is thoroughly functional and offers airy seating comfort, especially on hot days.

The pleasantly rounded shape with relatively large seat width and seat depth offers ergonomics that you don't want to do without, even indoors.

It is injection-moulded from 100% renewable polypropylene reinforced with fibreglass. This means that every single chair has the identical high quality in strength, stability and resistance.

The resulting flawless surface makes it much more resistant and thus more scratch-resistant, weatherproof and UV-resistant than conventional plastic chairs.

This also contributes to the chair's high stability and, with a load-bearing capacity of up to 220 kg, to its far greater load-bearing capacity, which also guarantees it a very long service life.

What is the importance of the injection moulding process for our Palawan chairs?

High efficiency in production, which is reflected in the price, is not the only advantage.

The injection moulding process creates plastic products with a very smooth and therefore finishing-free surface and a very high strength and resistance. This has a positive effect on the stability and durability and thus on the quality and price of our Palawan chairs
