This "Dallas" gastro bench combines special comfort with stylish design. An ergonomically shaped foam interior is concealed under the imitation leather cover. So sit back, relax and enjoy a tasteful meal on cuddly and soft upholstery. The soft upholstery, wide seat and matching seat height ensure a comfortable sitting experience, while the robust construction also offers stability and load-bearing capacity at the highest level. What is imitation leather?

Imitation leather is a versatile material that is very popular in craftsmanship. It has a surface that both feels and looks like real leather, but is made without animal skins. Faux leather is made from textile fabrics and coated with PVC, polyurethane or polyester. In this way, the typical grain structure of leather is imitated. In this day and age, you can hardly tell the difference between this and real leather, that's how well imitation leather is made


What are the advantages of imitation leather?

The biggest advantage of imitation leather over real leather is certainly the favourable price. Real leather is very time-consuming and expensive to produce, and due to the natural characteristics of animal skin, there is often a lot of waste. Imitation leather, on the other hand, can be produced very economically. In addition, imitation leather is very robust and durable and more weather-resistant to sun and water. It is also suitable for contract use (gastronomy, medicine, etc.) where seating furniture gets dirty quickly and has to be cleaned and disinfected frequently
